  • Krispy Kreme has launched a limited-edition Halloween doughnut range
  • The collection features three doughnuts and one decadent ice cream shake
  • Flavours include red velvet, white chocolate biscuit and raspberry jam
  • Fans can get free doughnuts by visiting stores in costume on October 31

Krispy Kreme has launched a limited-edition Halloween doughnut range – and you can get some for free if you’re willing to get into the spooky spirit.

The iconic doughnut giant has added four Halloween-themed treats to its menu until the end of October.

Customers can get their hands on free doughnuts by visiting Krispy Kreme stores or drive-thrus in a Halloween costume on October 31.

A 20 per cent discount will also be applied to the limited-edition range from October 18 until October 25.

The new flavours include ‘Skully’, a red velvet doughnut stuffed with chocolate malt cream filling and a decadent topping of red truffle, chocolate biscuit and Belgian white chocolate skull.

‘Spiderweb’ is a original glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate ganache and finished with a white chocolate truffle design, while ‘Mummy’ is a classic raspberry jam doughnut frosted with purple truffle, chocolate eyes and frosting.

Boxes of 12 are currently reduced from $29.95 to $23.96 on the brand’s website.

Rounding out the Halloween specials is the ‘Graveyard Shake’, a chocolate ice cream drink blended with chocolate biscuit and chocolate syrup, topped with chocolate cream and more chocolate biscuit crumb.

The shake is only available in Krispy Kreme stores, but the doughnuts can be ordered from the website or through major delivery partners including UberEats, Deliveroo, Doordash and Menulog.

The doughnuts will also be available at 7-Eleven stores from October 27.

The launch follows other specialty themed doughnuts including Cadbury Crunchie, Lotus Biscoff, and the recent Pokemon x Cadbury Caramilk collaboration.
