Kristin, who shot to national fame on the reality show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, matched her swimsuit with black-rimmed sunglasses.

She had swept her hair back and wound it into a messy bun.

The reality TV icon married NFL player Jay Cutler in 2013, since when they have had two sons – Camden, five, and Jaxon, three – and their daughter Saylor, one.

Kristin was accompanied to the beach by a group of pals, one of whom cradled the nearly two-year-old Saylor in her arms, but Jay was not glimpsed out with them.

The mother-of-three gave an interview to Parents magazine back when she was expecting Saylor and effervesced about welcoming a daughter.

‘I’m excited for the boys to grow up with a sister,’ she said. ‘I think it will help them to better understand and respect women.’

Of her marriage, she said: ‘I’m not ashamed to say that Jay and I consistently go to therapy, because it’s been extremely beneficial for our relationship.’

Explained she: ‘For example, when you’re fighting you should never place blame on your partner by saying: “You do this” or “You do that.” You should say how those actions make you feel. It goes a long way.’

Kristin had hinted at the lifestyle behind her enviable figure in 2014, dishing about her eating habits with E! News.

‘I don’t eat any toxic chemicals and I try to eat organic as often as possible. We eat a ton of veggies, chicken, grass-fed beef, bison and fish. We also love sweet potatoes and brown rice pasta,’ she said.

‘I either make a smoothie, oatmeal or eggs for breakfast and a salad or turkey sandwich for lunch. I have a snack in the afternoon – usually nuts with dried cherries, chips with hummus, or an apple and almond butter.’

She gushed: ‘I also love avocados with olive oil and sea salt and I put coconut oil in or on everything.’

The erstwhile reality star had recently welcomed her second child when she gave that interview, but when asked if she ate differently while trying to slough off the pregnancy weight, she replied: ‘No, my diet is always the same.’
