Krysten Ritter admits that she made a Tinder profile

She may be in a long-term relationship now.

But even Krysten Ritter once signed up for the popular dating app Tinder.

The 35-year-old actress appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden, alongside actor Josh Hutcherson on Wednesday and admitted she created a profile for herself ‘as a joke’ several years ago.

Her love life: Krysten Ritter admits that besides being a famous celebrity, she once made an online dating profile about five years ago

Krysten, who has been dating Adam Granduciel since 2014, told James: ‘A couple years ago…When did Tinder start? I don’t know, I had a friend over, and we set up a profile for me as a joke, to kind of see how the algorithm worked.’

The Defenders actress continued: ‘And so we set up a profile for me, but we couldn’t use any of the things that would probably be what got me a date in real life.’

The two men looked confused by the statement, so Krysten had to clarify that she couldn’t tell men she was an actress.

‘Like Breaking Bad, that might get me a date. Or like, a picture [of me]. So we used one where you couldn’t tell it was me.’

The talk show host laughed and stopped Krysten with: ‘actually I think using a real picture is necessary for the app.’

The Marvel starlet continues: ‘It was really humbling and a real ego blast, because I was like “No one’s going to like me!” Because it would basically not be me, and not use all of the stuff. It was like high school all over again.’

Josh continues to laugh at her with some judgment as she shakes his head in disbelief.

James asked Josh, ‘What does she need to do?’ He sweetly tells the 35-year-old to ‘just be herself’ in order to land a real date.
