Last month, The Kyle and Jackie O Show took out its nineteenth consecutive #1FM spot with a 12.9 per cent share of the Sydney audience, making history in the process.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show also had more listeners than any other breakfast radio show in Australia.

The Australian Radio Network (ARN), which includes KIIS FM, remained the number one radio network in the country for the second consecutive year.

Jake Challenor, the publisher of industry bible Radio Today, said Kyle and Jackie O are paid $5million a year each to host Sydney’s top-rated FM breakfast show.

While they easily have the most generous pay packet, there are plenty of other anchors who command seven-figure salaries.

Mr Challenor said the likes of Marty Sheargold, Amanda Keller, Dave Hughes, Ray Hadley, Neil Mitchell, Fifi Box, Sam Pang and Mick Molloy all earn ‘in the millions’.
