TV binge watcher Kyle Mack managed to pull himself away from his TV screen tonight and land himself an Olympic silver medal for Team USA.
The self-confessed ‘mega fan’ of TV series ‘Designated Survivor’ more than survived the field of 12 men to gain a place on the winner’s podium.
To land the silver medal Kyle performed a run and twisting leap called the ‘Bloody Dracula’.
Gold went to Canada’s Sebastien Toutant and bronze to Britain’s Billy Morgan.
Kyle, 20, of Michigan, had his father to thank for helping him hugely along the way to Olympic glory.

He hit the snow at the age of three and he and his father constructed a training area near their home.
They cleared a 110 foot wooded area on a slope and built a 70 foot wooden ramp, which was placed next to a 50 foot airbag so that he could train during the summer.
Last night his family waved the Stars and Stripes as he climbed onto the podium watched on by Ivanka Trump.
Earlier he had told how he had watched ten straight episodes in the Olympic athletes’ village of his favorite TV drama series which tells how a low level politician rakes over the White House after the President and other senior politicians are massacred.

Kyle’s father Tod, mother Connie and sister Rachel were among the US fans cheering his name as he claimed his silver.
Kyle, speaking of the support from his family, said his father was emotional after the event and nearly had him weeping too.
He said: ‘A tear came off his (Tod’s) eyes today and I tried to hold mine in but it was so hard.
‘Having my mum and dad here was insane. They stuck through the whole entire event with me. Family support means everything to me.
‘I have my phone in my backpack with me and I can’t even imagine what it’s like for all my family members and grandparents watching this. It’s just really cool.
‘It is everything right now, it’s so crazy. I’ve worked so hard to get here and to walk away with a medal today is a dream come true, really.’
