Kyle Sandilands praises Pauline Hanson amid One Nation stripper scandal

‘You always stand up for what you believe in’: Kyle Sandilands praises Pauline Hanson following Steve Dickson’s One Nation stripper scandal

Kyle Sandilands has thrown his support behind Pauline Hanson following former One Nation Senate candidate Steve Dickson’s stripper scandal.

The One Nation leader, 64, called in to The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday to discuss the fallout from Steve’s resignation, which was met with encouraging words from Kyle.

‘I think what you’ve done here is the right thing,’ the 47-year-old radio host said.

‘You’re always standing up for what you believe in,’ he continued. ‘You’ve never faulted from that and I’ve gotta tip my hat to you in that area.’

After Pauline claimed that people were trying ‘to get rid of One Nation’ and that the public should look into the party’s policies, Kyle claimed that most people have no idea what One Nation’s policies actually are.

‘That’s what people don’t do,’ Kyle said. ‘I’ve noticed that people don’t look into the policies, they just read headlines.’

On Tuesday morning, Pauline accepted the resignation of One Nation’s Queensland leader and Senate candidate Steve Dickson after he was caught on camera groping strippers and making derogatory comments about women.

Steve resigned from the party after more footage from an Al Jazeera sting was made public, following on from video released last month which showed him meeting with officials from the U.S. National Rifle Association.

‘White women **** a whole lot better, they know what they are doing, Asian chicks don’t,’ Steve was recorded saying in the footage aired on Monday.

The footage showed the 56-year-old groping the breasts of one dancer before putting money into the underwear of another.

‘I’ve asked her, she said she wants to come home and suck my d***,’ he said while receiving a lap dance.

Pauline said she was ‘shocked and disappointed’ after seeing the footage – captured by Al Jazeera journalists as part of their investigation into the party – and has accepted Steve’s resignation.
