Kylian Mbappe has seemingly branded a future El Clasico rival a ‘son of a b***h’ after a clash at Euro 2024.

Mbappe made his first start for France at the tournament since breaking his nose in his side’s first game against Austria, donning a protective mask to protect him from the injury.

It hasn’t completely done its job, however, with the Real Madrid forward wincing in pain after receiving a whack while challenging for the ball.

The man he ended up clashing with was Robert Lewandowski, the Poland forward who plays for one of Mbappe’s future rivals on the back of his free tranfer to Madrid in Barcelona.

Cameras caught Mbappe’s reaction to the clash, and he wasn’t best pleased, appearing the bash the Poland striker.

It was all fine after, however, with the pair hugging it out on the pitch as the whistle blew to confirm the 1-1 draw.

The two are set to but heads in one of the biggest games in world football next term following Mbappe’s move to Madrid.

He had long been linked with an exit from PSG, and finally departed in the summer after his contract was run-down, joining the likes of Vinicius Jnr and Just Bellingham in the Spanish capital.

Lewandowski has been with Barca since 2022, but faces an uncertain future with Handsi Flick taking over from club legend Xavi ahead of next season.

The game is regularly considered the biggest game in Spain, with Madrid winning all three matches the two played against each other last season.

The clash came about towards the end of the game, with Mbappe taking his mask off and holding his nose as he protested the challenge.

With Lewandowski shielding the ball, Mbappe tried to tackle him from behind, with the Poland man flinging his arms into the air and catching his opponent on the nose.

TV cameras zoomed in on the France captain as attended to his injury, which is when he appeared to blast Lewandowski.

Both players scored in the game, with Mbappe netting his first goal of the tournament from the penalty spot to put his side ahead in the second half.

Lewandowski, however, scored from the spot himself 11 minutes from time to square it up, and 1-1 was how the game ended.

It wasn’t without controversey, however, with Lewandowski first seeing his effort saved by Mike Maignan, only for VAR to rule the France goalkeeper had come off his line.

The second penalty was scored, meaning France ended up runners-up in Group C to The Netherlands.
