He is the megastar striker who could break English hearts when the Three Lions play France in the World Cup tomorrow.

And Kylian Mbappe has already scored a hat-trick, at least off the field – being linked to not one but three glamorous women.

At just 23, Mbappe is considered by many to be the best footballer in the world and is already the tournament’s top scorer, with five goals in Qatar so far.

His talent has made him one of the highest paid sportsmen on the planet after signing an eye-watering £547million, three-year deal to play at Paris Saint Germain.

The player has become a well-known socialite and is increasingly prominent in the world of fashion, signing deals with Dior, teaming up with Swiss watchmaker Hublot and working as a global ambassador for eyewear brand Oakley. And he seems to have no shortage of ultra-chic young women falling over themselves to secure a rendez-vous.

Alicia Aylies is a model and singer – and a former Miss France. The 24-year-old met Mbappe in 2018 and the pair began dating.

They were reportedly spotted together as recently as September, but Ms Aylies – who boasts 438,000 Instagram followers – is currently in Paris, not Doha, which has set tongues wagging.

More recently the footballer has been spotted with Ines Rau, who made history in 2017 as the first transgender model to feature on a Playboy cover. Having transitioned from male to female aged 24 – she is now 32 – she boasts one million Instagram followers. The pair have not confirmed their romance but were seen together on a yacht at Cannes.

Then there is Rose Bertram, a 27-year-old Belgian model who has worked for fashion and beauty brands including H&M, L’Oreal and Agent Provocateur.

She has 867,000 followers on Instagram and has been linked with Mbappe since July, when she ditched her Dutch footballer boyfriend Gregory van der Wiel, with whom she has two children. Midfielder Kalvin Phillips said yesterday: ‘We know Mbappe is one of the best players in the world but we focus on what we have to do. If you want anyone up against Mbappe it is Kyle Walker – he is a very good defender and probably quicker than him too.’ Walker himself vowed: ‘He is not going to stand in my way of winning the World Cup for my country. I do understand what I need to do and that is to stop him.

‘We’re not going to roll out the red carpet for him and tell him to go and score.’
