The beauty mogul revamped her products – including her world-famous lip kits – with all-new formulas that are kinder to the planet and cruelty-free.
In a press release via People, she said: ‘I’m so proud to relaunch Kylie Cosmetics with all new formulas that are clean and vegan.’
Jenner went on to note that she was committed to making strides with the new version of her brand and expressed that she was happy to be using materials that were sustainable and cruelty-free.
‘Innovation has come far in the past few years. When creating this line, it was so important to me to commit to using clean ingredients across the board, but to never sacrifice performance,’ she wrote.
The social media personality concluded by noting that she was more than ready for her new offerings to be made available to the public.
Jenner remarked that ‘all my new formulas are amazing. I’m excited for everyone to try the new products.’
No funny business: In a post that was shared to her account last week, the singer expressed that all of her new products were made with ‘clean and vegan’ ingredients
Doing well: The reality television personality previously expressed a desire to change up her formulas in order to be more sustainable
Speaking her mind: Jenner previously stated that she wanted to ‘commit to using clean ingredients across the board’
Intentions: The beauty mogul did point out that she would ‘never sacrifice performance’ when formulating her products
The products will be available worldwide at stores including Selfridges and Harrods in the UK.
The changes come after Coty acquired a 51 percent stake in the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s business in 2019.
The reality television personality’s company had been raking in hundreds of millions of dollars in the past few years before the beauty giant stepped in and purchased a holding in the brand for $600 million.
In hot water: The revamp comes over a year after it was revealed that Jenner’s company had been overvalued and that she was not a billionaire as she had previously claimed
However, Jenner courted controversy in early 2020 when it was reported by Forbes that her business had overvalued itself, which was exposed when Coty’s publicly available filings.
Although the social media figure had previously described herself as a ‘billionaire,’ the released documents appeared to suggest otherwise, and the media outlet concluded that she had exaggerated her actual earnings.
A representative for the family later gave a statement to the magazine and bluntly stated that they had all been truthful in their business reporting.
‘The accusations that the Jenners, and/or their accountants, falsified tax returns and then lied about their 2016 revenues for the last four years, are absolutely false,’ they remarked.
Backing her up: Shortly after Forbes ran a story about the influencer’s practices, a representative for the family contacted the media outlet and claimed that the allegations of Jenner being untruthful about her earnings was ‘absolutely false’
