Kylie Jenner shares the beauty lesson she’ll be teaching daughter Stormi

Kylie Jenner certainly has a lot of makeup-related expertise to pass on to her daughter — and it seems highly unlikely that little Stormi will one day be left to figure out lipliner all by herself.

But the 21-year-old mother says that the most important lesson she’ll be teaching her little girl when it comes to beauty is to do her own thing.

‘The beauty lesson that I want to pass on to Stormi is probably just be carefree and experiment,’ Kylie said in a new video for Vogue Australia. ‘And let her experiment with her look and who she wants to be.’

Kylie, who snagged her first Vogue cover this month with the front of Vogue Australia’s September issue, got candid about her first child in an in-book interview.

But she also spoke briefly about Stormi in a new video that the magazine released to accompany the issue.

‘Beauty to me means being yourself. Beauty to me means Stormi,’ she said.

‘I think confidence makes nosecone beautiful. Life is beautiful. Marriages, sunsets,’ she went on.

‘Creating life was one of the most beautiful moments in my life. It’s hard to explain why, it’s just when you experience it you understand.’

Kylie spoke more about Stormi in her cover story, an interview with big sister Kendall Jenner. Most notably, she explained how becoming a mother shifted her perspective on beauty in general and has helped her find more self-acceptance.

‘I feel like having a daughter, and thinking about beauty in the future, has definitely changed me, and I feel like it has made me love myself more and accept everything about me,’ she said.

Shortly before the interview was released, Kylie revealed that she stopped getting lip fillers for the first time in years. The move led fans to speculate that Kylie felt differently about herself as a mom — and she confirmed this in Vogue.

‘Even my ears, I always felt like they stuck out too far, and she [Stormi] has the same ears as me and so now I love my ears,’ she said.

‘It’s just having a different outlook on life so I can pass that on to her. I want to be an example for her. What kind of example would I be if she said she didn’t like her ears, and then I didn’t like them either?

‘I just want to teach her that. I’m trying to love myself more.

‘I actually feel like I love myself more after I had Stormi. And I’m trying to be … I mean, I’m already a positive person, but just having fun, being positive,’ she added.
