Kylie Minogue takes to stage with pal Jake Shears at her 50th birthday to perform Dolly Parton duet

More and more details of Kylie Minogue’s lavish 50th birthday celebrations have been coming out over the course of this week, after she rung in her milestone age on Sunday in London.

And her guest and old friend Jake Shears has shared one of his memories from the night, of him and the ageless songstress performing a Dolly Parton hit for the guests.

Clearly not taking the night off from getting up on stage, Kylie is seen in Jake’s clip in front of the crowd of guests – which included Jason Donovan, Alan Carr, Amanda Holden and Guy Pearce – to dazzle them with their joint vocals.

Let them entertain you: More details of Kylie Minogue’s 50th birthday celebrations have been coming out, with Jake Shears sharing a video of him and the songstress dueting together for the party guests

The pair looked more than happy to sing together as they belted out Islands In The Stream by the Nashville superstar, laughing and hugging each other much to the overjoyed crowd.

This comes after pictures cropped up of Kylie’s plethora of presents being delivered to her storage space the day after the event.

As the A-list attendees were slowly leaked, it came out that Kylie’s former Neighbours co-star Stefan Dennis was not on the guest list at all.

The veteran Neighbours star, who plays Paul Robinson on the long-running soap, revealed he failed to score an invite to the lavish event, despite playing her brother-in-law on the show.

The 59-year-old actor jokingly told The Daily Telegraph: ‘I didn’t get an invite … b***h.’

He also joked that he’s the ‘outcast’ in the group.

On the soap, Kylie’s character Charlene married Jason Donovan’s character Scott.

Stefan plays Scott’s older brother Paul while Guy Pearce portrayed their neighbour Mike Young.

‘I didn’t get an invite… b***h’: Stefan Dennis didn’t get invited to former Neighbours co-star Kylie Minogue’s 50th birthday bash in London… despite Jason Donovan and Guy Pearce attending

‘My little bro, next door neighbour, they were all there. I missed out. I’m obviously outcast,’ Stefan said.

Kylie celebrated her birthday at the Chiltern Firehouse on Sunday, with other celebrity guests including Graham Norton, David Walliams and Mel C.

She also received a birthday kiss from handsome new beau Paul Solomons on the night.

In April, Kylie told The Project she was having a party – something which is ‘out of character’ for her.

‘I tend to try and wiggle out of those type of things and just have a few friends around,’ she said.

Appearing incredibly upbeat, she confessed she was in a ‘happy place’ .

After a painful break-up from fiancé Joshua Sasse at the end of 2016, the Locomotion songstress revealed how to get things back on track following a devastating life event.

‘Get all the tears and all of that c**p out of the way and then be with people you love and people who make you feel great and strong,’ she advised.
