Lady Gaga shows off her spot-on eye for style in splendid polka dot dress

Lady Gaga channeled a classically glamorous mid-century look on Saturday as she headed to Radio City Music Hall to rehearse for her upcoming concerts.

The 35-year-old singer and actress stunned in a black polka dot dress as she exited her hotel in New York City while surrounded by a throng of adoring fans.

She was on her way to a rehearsal for her highly anticipated set of shows featuring jazz standards performed with the legendary crooner Tony Bennett.

Gaga (given name: Stefani Germanotta) oozed elegance in the lustrous satin dress, which was cinched around her midriff to emphasize her hourglass figure.

The outfit also highlighted her toned legs and featured a plunging white collar with notched lapels and padded shoulders.

The Poker Face singer was fittingly stone faced and covered her eyes with an angular pair of black cat-eye sunglasses.

She had returned to her natural brunette tresses, which were featured extensively in the trailer for her upcoming film House Of Gucci.

Gaga added some extra sparkle to her look with pointy white pumps and tear drop–shaped pearl earrings.

She accessorized with a thick white handbag reading ‘LOVE FOR SALE’ in black block letters on the side.

The phrase, which is the title of a classic Cole Porter standard, is believed to be the title of an upcoming duets album featuring Tony, who previously joined her on their hit album Cheek To Cheek, which also featured a number of standards and classic tunes.

She has also used the phrase several times on Instagram and has displayed other handbags with the same phrase while out and about in New York City in recent days.

Gaga was also spotted later in the afternoon as she exited her SUV at the Radio City Music Hall.

The singer recently caused a commotion on social media after she appeared in the trailer for Ridley Scott’s upcoming film House Of Gucci.

She stars as Patrizia Reggiani, the wife (and later ex-wife) Maurizio Gucci (played by Oscar nominee Adam Driver). She was convicted in 1998 of paying a hitman to murder the Gucci heir in 1995.

Reggiani was eventually released from prison in 2016 after serving 18 years for the crime.

The film is primarily set in the year of Gucci’s murder, four years after the couple divorced, though it appears to also partly detail their relationship.

Some of the strongest reactions to the trailer were reserved for Jared Leto, who was unrecognizable under layers of makeup and prosthetics that allowed him to play Paolo Gucci.

The Ridley Scott film also features supporting appearances from acclaimed actors including Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Salma Hayek.

Earlier this month, she filmed an MTV Unplugged concert featuring her friend and longtime collaborator Tony Bennett, whom she worked with on their 2014 duet album Cheek To Cheek.

The album debuted at number one, again making Bennett the oldest musician to have a number one album.

After its success, it was only natural that the singers would work together again.

The Poker Face artist announced last week that she and Bennett would reunite for a set of concerts titled One Last Time: an Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga in early August.

‘One Last Time,’ she wrote. ‘An evening with @itstonybennett and me at Radio City Music Hall on August 3rd & 5th. I am so honored and excited to celebrate Tony’s 95th birthday with him at these special shows.’

Attendees will be required to show proof of a Covid-19 vaccinated, and smartphones will be held in Yondr pouches during the performance.

Madison Square Garden Entertainment’s Darren Pfeffer said in a statement to Variety, ‘We couldn’t be prouder to host such a special engagement with two of the most iconic entertainers of our time.

‘Both Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are synonymous with New York City, making the great stage at Radio City Music Hall the perfect place to honor their decade long friendship and celebrate Mr. Bennett’s 95th birthday.’

The upcoming shows will performed on a bittersweet note, as Tony was revealed to have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2016 in an AARP profile from February.

The neurodegenerative disease is responsible for a majority of dementia cases and involves increasing memory loss, along with a diminishment of bodily functions.

Although affected people can live years with the disease, it is always fatal.

However, music and performing seem to be helping the legendary vocalist stave off the worst symptoms.

‘It kept him on his toes and also stimulated his brain in a significant way,’ Bennett’s neurologist Gayatri Devi told AARP.

‘He is doing so many things, at 94, that many people without dementia cannot do. He really is the symbol of hope for someone with a cognitive disorder.’

‘You know, Gaga is wonderful,’ she said.

Bennett’s wife also confirmed that he was still able to recognize the Born This Way singer.

‘Most definitely,’ she said with a laugh. ‘Gaga is hard to forget.’
