Lady Gaga to donate $1 million following natural disasters

Lady Gaga proved she’s one of the most generous stars in the business.

The 31-year-old singer took to Twitter on Saturday to announce she was making a $1 million donation to help relief efforts in the wake of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, José, Maria and the Mexico City earthquake.

‘While praying every day, I’m also donating $1Mil to relief efforts for Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, José, Maria and the Mexico City earthquake,’ she tweeted, adding a prayer hands emoji.

The singer received a heaping of praise from her fans, many of who branded her the ‘queen of charity’ and a ‘generosity angel’.  

Meanwhile, the star’s health appears to be improving day by day.

The singer also shared a health update with her anxious fans on Saturday as she battles her chronic pain condition.

On September 14, Gaga was hospitalized for severe pain and had to postpone the Europe leg of her tour.

The Mayo Clinic reports that the illness is a ‘disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues.’

Earlier this week the songstress gave a shout out to Beyonce, who sent her some gifts while she was recuperating.

‘Not having a good pain day. Thank you honey B for sending me this comfy sweatshirt,’ she captioned a photo of herself snuggled up in an Ivy Park hoodie.
