Piers, who recently left Good Morning Britain, has been celebrating great success with Wake Up and earlier this month it become Britain’s number one best-selling paperback for a second week in the row.

Wake Up, published last October, is described as a ‘plea for the return of true liberalism, where freedom of speech is king’.

It is written in the context of the coronavirus pandemic in Britain, which Piers says ‘exposed deep divisions within society and laid bare a toxic culture war that had been raging beneath the surface.’

The book, his 11th to be published since 1991, has topped the likes of Amazon and  The Sunday Times Bestsellers list.

In a post shared last week, Piers thanked fans for their support, he penned on Instagram: ‘BREAKING: Wake Up is Britain’s No1 best-selling paperback for a 2nd week. It sold more than double the number of any other book!

‘Thanks so much to everyone who’s bought it. I’m so grateful that you care as much as I do about free speech & the right to have an opinion. If you’d like to Wake Up too, you can order by now from Amazon for just £4.50. Link in bio.’

Only recently, Victoria told The Daily Mail that she ‘doesn’t agree’ with face masks amid the coronavirus pandemic.

‘I’m not going to lie, I never wear one,’ she confessed, adding that she ‘storms out’ of any shops that ask her to put one on.

Even so, she went into business supplying PPE at the start of the pandemic, but insisted that she isn’t a hypocrite.

‘I did a little bit of a pivot,’ she said. ‘But no, it doesn’t! I was selling it to hospitals, not to people out walking their dogs or shopping.’

Asked if she would ever take the Covid vaccine, she scoffed: ‘No way! It’s a personal thing, and my mother’s had hers, but at my age I really believe in natural immunity.’

She admitted that Project Baby had also influenced her thinking — as she has a prospective sperm donor/father lined up.

Six of her eggs were frozen and stored three years ago, at a cost of £11,000, and she spent the time afterwards looking for a donor.

‘I had a friend who was going to be my sperm donor. He was going to be involved in my child’s life, but as a friend, not a partner,’ she explained.

‘And I was supposed to be pregnant now. But then Covid happened, which was a big blow, but looking back I’m really grateful I didn’t do it with that person. He just wasn’t right.’

Victoria revealed she has since found someone, but is keeping their identity secret.
