Lala Kent had prenup with ex-fiance Randall Emmett before they split following cheating accusations

Lala Kent admitted she had a prenup in place with ex-fiance Randall Emmett before they split following cheating accusations last October.

The 31-year-old reality star chatted with Scheana Shay on Tuesday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules where she encouraged her friend to look into legal protection ahead of her own wedding.

When the Good as Gold singer asked if Lala had a prenuptial agreement, Lala said: ‘Oh, yeah. I’m all about a plan B,’ before adding that it was ‘definitely a smart move’ for Scheana to do the same with her fiance, Brock Davies.

‘I remember when I said that Rand and I were going to do a prenup, you acted a little shocked by it,’ Lala said of Scheana, who replied: ‘Yeah! When Katie [Maloney-Schwartz] and Tom [Schwartz] did it, I was just like, “Ugh! That just takes the fun out of it. Like, you should be marrying somebody you trust who’s never going to come after you.”‘

Lala remained firm in her stance to protect her assets regardless of who she married. 

‘When things get sticky, people really show [their] true colors,’ she said. ‘I just want something that is so clear and cut and dry where it’s like, “What’s yours is yours, what’s mine is mine. Go away.”‘

‘Yeah! When Katie [Maloney-Schwartz] and Tom [Schwartz] did it, I was just like, “Ugh! That just takes the fun out of it. Like, you should be marrying somebody you trust who’s never going to come after you.”‘

‘Pre-Ocean, sex was at least a couple of times a week,’ she said in a confessional. ‘Blowies were happening really often, but becoming a mom you just don’t want that in your mouth anymore.’

Kent called off the engagement in October after photos surfaced of Randall with two women in Nashville, Tennessee. 

She also admitted on the show that their usually wild sex life was far more toned down after she gave birth to their daughter, Ocean. 

‘Pre-Ocean, sex was at least a couple of times a week,’ she said in a confessional. ‘Blowies were happening really often, but becoming a mom you just don’t want that in your mouth anymore.’

Randall proposed to Lala during a romantic trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in September 2018 when they celebrated her 28th birthday.

He gave her a six-carat diamond ring, which Lala recently discovered was a fake and had been heavily treated to change the color of the stone.

‘I thank God and my [late] dad daily that I never married him,’ Kent said during a recent chat with Amanda Hirsch on Dear Media’s Not Skinny, Not Fat podcast. ‘Just the thought of it sends me into a panic. If I would’ve gotten married, oh my God!’
