Lance Bass reveals Britney Spears reached out to meet his twin children

Lance Bass has recounted how ‘strange’ it was having to communicate with Britney Spears through a third party after the pop star reached out to meet his twin children.

Bass, 44, and his husband Michael Turchin, 36, welcomed son Alexander and daughter Violet via surrogate in October 2021, just one month before Britney was relinquished from her controversial conservatorship.

Though he did not specify when exactly their exchange occurred, the NSync singer described how the Sometimes singer, 41, reached out to meet his children – before plans dissolved.

‘She has reached out through her people, wanting to come meet the kids and all that,’ Bass revealed on his podcast Frosted Tips.

‘Then the people don’t follow through and refuse to put you in contact,’ a man, who appeared to be Michael, chimed in.

‘You have to talk through people,’ he claimed. ‘It’s very strange.’

Nowadays, Lance has no idea how Britney is doing, but has a hard time believing rumors she doesn’t want to tour again.

‘I don’t know what to believe because I don’t know how she is,’ he said. ‘I mean, maybe she is completely over performing, but I just know how much she loves it, and I know she’s a competitive person also, so I can’t imagine her never performing again.’

This all comes just days after DailyMail.com exclusively reported that Britney has agreed to let Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16, to move to Hawaii with her ex Kevin Federline.

It’s possible the singer is trying to reconcile with her teenage sons, whose relationship has been strained recently.

Her sons didn’t attend her wedding last year where she tied the knot with Sam Asghari, and she reportedly hasn’t seen them in several months.

Spears did recently meet with her mother Lynne Spears in Los Angeles, reportedly to try and repair their relationship, so perhaps Spears is trying to reconcile with her sons.

It was reported last month that Federline, 45, and his wife Victoria, were planning to relocate to Hawaii, and they want to move Sean and Jayden with them.

Reports claim that Victoria, who K-Fed has been married to since 2013, was offered a job at a Hawaiian university, and Federline would also have numerous DJ opportunities there as well.

Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan sent a letter to Spears’ lawyer Matthew Rosengart, asking if she would let her sons move to Hawaii full time with him and Victoria.

Federline has 100% legal custody and 100% de facto custody of his children, with his lawyer claiming Britney hasn’t seen both sons in more than a year.

The letter asked for a response by the end of that week, and if she did not respond, Federline’s lawyer would go to court and ask permission from a judge.

It was reported last week Federline was ready to take this to court, but DailyMail.com reported that Spears has approved, with the move reportedly set for August 1.

A source told DailyMail.com that Spears has, ‘always been a loving and supportive mother’ and never opposed the relocation.

‘Britney loves her children, has always supported them, and wants them to be happy.

‘Putting aside that she is an icon, loved and respected by millions throughout the world, she has been a loving and supportive mother, faithfully supporting her children.’

The source also blasted Federline for creating a, ‘false dispute,’ adding that Spears had never interfered with his plans to move to Hawaii.

Last year, the singer admitted a ‘part of her had died’ as she had not seen her sons for six months and they didn’t attend her wedding to Sam.
