Lara Trump admits she ‘never dreamed she would visit Buckingham Palace and meet the Queen’

Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law has admitted that she never imagined that she would meet the Queen.

Lara Trump, 36, who is married to Eric Trump, was among the family members, including her sister-in-law Ivanka, who attended the US state visit to Britain in June.

She and Eric, 35, the middle son of President Trump, are expecting another son together some time this month, just weeks before their eldest son Luke turns two years old.

The former TV producer, who is pregnant with her second child with husband Eric, has admitted she can’t wait to tell her unborn baby about its overseas adventures, which took place when she was seven months pregnant.

Dressed in a glamorous gold asymmetric dress, which hugged her nine-month pregnant bump, Lara spoke about her official state visit to London.

Speaking in this week’s Hello! magazine, she said: ‘Knowing that one day I’ll tell this baby about the adventure overseas and all that happened while in my belly made everything all the more meaningful.’

She said: ‘I can assure you that I never dreamed that I’d have the opportunity to visit Buckingham Palace, meet the Queen and the royal family, and attend a state dinner – it was an unforgettable few days.’

She posed in Mar-a-Lago, the Florida resort owned by her father-in-law.

‘In the chaos of day-to-day life, it’s so nice to have a place where we can meet as a family and it feels like old times, before my father-in-law was president and life was a little bit less hectic,’ she said.

All four of Trump’s adult children attended the State Banquet at Buckingham Palace in June.

Don Jr., 41, Ivanka, 37, Eric, 35, Eric’s wife Lara, 36, and Tiffany, 25, each dressed up for the fancy fete and could be spotted milling about and smiling in the direction of photographers, as Trump sat with the Queen.

Lara, who is a former producer of Inside Edition, is serving as a 2020 presidential campaign adviser to the 45th president, and her father-in-law.

Lara produces and hosts weekly digital videos for the Trump re-election campaign, which launched in July of 2017, under the title ‘Real News Update’ on the campaign’s social media pages.
