Lara Worthington looks sensational in a blue swimsuit at Cronulla beach

She has spent the past decade jet-setting around the world with her actor husband Sam Worthington.

But Lara Worthington (née Bingle) returned to her roots on Saturday when she visited her old stomping ground of Cronulla, in Sydney’s south, for a photo shoot.

The mother of three, 35, looked trim and terrific as she frolicked at the beach in a royal blue swimsuit which featured thin straps and cheeky high-cut bottoms.

The skimpy one-piece also provided a glimpse of her rarely seen – and fading – heart tattoo on her left wrist.

Lara completed her look with a pair of edgy sunglasses, drop earrings, a silver wristwatch and a diamond ring.

She wore minimal makeup and slicked her soaking wet hair back behind her ears. 

Splashing in the surf while showing off her best angles for the camera, Lara certainly proved why she’s Australia’s most in-demand swimsuit model.

In between photos, the skincare entrepreneur was spotted hiking up her swimsuit to reveal more skin, and adjusting her cleavage.

Her photographer wasn’t afraid to put his own body on the line for a good shot, as he was also spotted wading through the water. 

When the shoot was finally over, Lara returned to the sand and slipped back into her civilian clothing – a white top, jeans and a baggy black hoodie.

Adding a stylish touch, the glamazon also wrapped a stylish black-and-white scarf around her head.

Lara then sat down with the photograph and pored over some of the images he had taken.

The model rose to fame after appearing in the 2006 Tourism Australia campaign So Where The Bloody Hell Are You? 

In 2012 even snagged her own reality show with Network 10 called Being Lara Bingle.

When the shoot was finally over, Lara returned to the sand and slipped back into her civilian clothing, including a pair of baggy blue jeans 

The blonde was famously engaged to cricketer Michael Clarke, but later found love with her now-husband, Avatar actor Sam Worthington, 46.

They share three children together, Rocket, eight, Racer, seven and River, three.

They previously relocated from Australia to New York because Lara said there are stricter laws about paparazzi and she wanted to better protect her children’s privacy. 

However, the couple returned to Australia on a more permanent basis during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

She then sat down with the photograph and pored over some of the images he had taken.
