Large RAT caught on camera on a supermarket shelf in Texas

A rat was caught on camera hiding in the bread aisle in Grand Prairie, Texas.

The rather large rodent was filmed making itself at home in a Kroger grocery story.

‘When I mentioned it to an employee, he said that, “It’s not the first, and it sure won’t be the last,” before going to tell his manager,’ the person who filmed the long-tailed creature said.

The varmint was hiding out among the hamburger buns, on the supermarket shelf, second from the top.

An eagle-eyed person with a camera caught a glimpse of the four-legged creature, from across the aisle.

The video starts out in a wide shot, with it being nearly impossible to make out the rat as it rests on a bag of buns.

A rat almost as big as the bag of buns can be seen, perched on top of the plastic protective layer covering the sandwich accessory.

The animal hardly moves as the video continues for close to one minute, capturing about 46 seconds of the it’s resting period.

The video was taken at the Kroger off Interstate 20 in Grand Prairie, Texas.
