Larry Nassar to face 57 victims in new sentencing hearing

Larry Nassar will be back in a Michigan court on Wednesday, with the disgraced doctor set to be sentenced in his third and final trial.

First, he will have to sit through three days of victim impact statements, with 57 people currently scheduled to speak according to Beryl Frenger, an administrator for the Eaton County Court.

Nassar has already entered a guilty plea to charges relating to the molestation of three minors who he treated while working at Twistars, the gym owned by his good friend John Geddart.

The convicted pedophile has been sentenced to 60 years in federal prison for possession of child pornography and an additional 40 to 175 years in prison after pleading guilty to 10 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in nearby Ingham County.

At that second trial, which ended last week, 156 women delivered statements.
