A couple from Las Vegas fell so in love with Italy after their vacation – that they decided to recreate a slice of the picturesque country in the backyard of their home.
An area of their unique mansion resembles a charming Italian street, complete with cobblestones, a fountain, cafe tables and store fronts.
Lara and and David Stone, who are now divorced, are selling the 9,800 square foot house that sits on half an acre for $6.5 million.
Although the couple do not have any Italian heritage, the couple were inspired to create the street scene after several visits to the country and falling in love with the place.
Their version of the street, named Via Di Pietra, was created more than a decade ago when their home was being built. The renovations took almost two years to complete.
