Las Vegas police bodycam shows the moment officers shot a stabbing suspect as he fled the scene.
Assistant Sheriff Tim Kelly said officers were dispatched to the intersection of West Spring Mountain Road and South Rainbow Boulevard on Saturday around 12.48pm.
Authorities had received reports that a man, later identified as Caleb Hill, had stabbed two women.

According to police, Hill, 38, stabbed one woman on an RTC bus multiple times. The victim was able to get off of the bus and run for help.
He then got off of the bus and grabbed another woman who was walking nearby, police said.
Hill then allegedly put his arm around the woman’s neck and stabbed her. That woman was also able to get away.
Kelly said that responding officers saw Hill with the second victim when they arrived to the scene.
In the police bodycam video, the officers are heard commanding the man to ‘put the knife down’ and ‘drop the knife’.
The man is then seen running from the officers while still holding the knife in his hand.

‘Officers continued to order Hill to stop and drop the knife, and Officer Hopson arrived and fired five bean bag rounds from a less than lethal shotgun which was also ineffective,’ Sheriff Kelly added
‘Officer Hanoff attempted to stop Hill with a Taser, but it was ineffective,’ Kelly said during a press conference.
Hill continued to run south on Rainbow Blvd towards another bus stop that was occupied by two people waiting for a bus.

‘Officers continued to order Hill to stop and drop the knife, and Officer Hopson arrived and fired five bean bag rounds from a less than lethal shotgun which was also ineffective,’ Kelly added.
Hill was still seen running in the video when Hanoff fired three rounds from his handgun, striking Hill.
Police said Hill was transported to University Medical Center Trauma in critical condition.
He is still in critical, but stable condition.
The two victims who had been stabbed were also transported to University Medical Center Trauma.
Police said the victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries and released.
Hill faces two counts of attempted murder and one count of resisting arrest with a weapon.
