Laurina Fleure ‘targeted by thieves as they steal from her car’

Laurina Fleure, 34, had a Chanel tote stolen when her car was reportedly broken into on Sunday and within 36 hours $700 was swiped from her bank account.

Police are investigating after thieves are said to have targeted the Bachelor In Paradise star’s vehicle when it was left unlocked on the Toorak Road. 

Sources close to Daily Mail Australia say the star was relieved her chihuahua Teddy wasn’t abducted as he was sat in the front seat when the theft took place.

The reality star explained she had left her car unlocked for two minutes while she ran into the 7/11 on the top of Toorak Road. 

Laurina claims she was unaware her car had been broken into until she was alerted by her bank that $700 had been drained from her account.

A spokesperson for Laurina Fleure exclusively told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Thieves quickly ran to the unlocked car and stole a Chanel tote back from her back seat.

‘She didn’t even realise until her bank alerted her there was fraudulent activity on her card over $700.

‘She didn’t notice the bag or card missing because she usually pays with Apple Pay on her phone. The thieves used her card over the next 36 hours.

‘Lucky they didn’t steal her three-month-old chihuahua Teddy who was waiting on the front seat for her.’ 

Police are said to be tracing CCTV footage at the scene as well as searching 10 service stations while they carry out their investigations.

The spokesperson for Laurina added: ‘Police are tracking all the CCTV footage from the scene as well as the 10 different service stations.’

Two days after the incident, Laurina informed her 71.7k followers that her car had been broken into.

Of the incident, Laurina wrote on social media: ‘When your car gets broken into and they need to check for finger prints.’

The police officer donned a Victoria Police badge on the right shoulder of her uniform and she carried a professional camera. 

Laurina’s car was parked up just off a busy road, opposite a street filled with independent chain shops, while the cops investigated the claims.
