Having recovered from a 12-month injury lay-off due to a ruptured achilles tendon, Loftus-Cheek is set to be a target, according to the Il Messaggero newspaper.
Loftus-Cheek has cruelly had to miss out of the youthful revolution at Chelsea this season under Frank Lampard, sitting on the sidelines after suffering the serious injury late last season.
The powerful midfielder has long been touted for big things after being left frustrated by previous managers, and would certainly have been a key part of Lampard’s plans in 2019-20.

Lazio are also set to target RB Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai after starring this campaign
At 24-years-old he is in need of a breakthrough season to deliver on his potential, and that opportunity could come with a move to Lazio.
Loftus-Cheek’s value will have sunk after his lay-off, with a fee of £17.5m reportedly set to be commanded.
Il Messaggero also report that RB Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai will be a target after the Hungarian midfielder starred alongside Erling Haaland for RB Salzburg in the Champions League this season.
The 19-year-old was overshadowed by Haaland’s sensational rise but has done enough to catch Lazio’s eye with seven assists and four goals this term.
