For Megan Ziems, the brains behind the world’s most pinned wedding dress and the Grace Loves Lace label, a more natural bridal aesthetic is set to be in vogue come January:

‘Less structure and more natural glamour will be a highlight,’ she explained to FEMAIL – adding that ‘creative and luxurious fabrics will also come into play’.

‘Dresses will feature lots of sheer and contrasting elements, with hidden yet decadent trims and details,’ Megan added.

‘I feel that the truly modern and adventurous bride will take reign – she shows a nod to tradition through colour and details like pearls, yet she’s confident with wearing a sexy and powerful dress.

‘Comfort will be key as women continue to appreciate that being a bride for the day isn’t about wearing a corset or heavy gown.

‘Cowl necks and A-line skirts will be a huge silhouette feature along with pearl detailing. It’s all about making a timeless and classic dress exciting!’.

Megan highlighted Grace Loves Lace’s $1,900 Honey style as indicative of this trend – explaining it’s her new ‘favourite dress of all time’.
