- Notts County stayed top of League Two with a 3-0 win against Cheltenham
- Danny Hylton scored a hat-trick as Luton thumped Cambridge 7-0
- Accrington Stanley in third after drawing at home to Newport
After another busy weekend of League Two action, Sportsmail’s TOM FARMERY reflects on the thrills and spills…
HERO OF THE WEEK
Nathan Jones (Luton manager) – ‘Understated but very calculated,’ was how one League Two boss described Jones. Luton is the 44-year-old’s first job in management. The Hatters have scored seven goals or more in three league matches this season, including the 7-0 battering of Cambridge on Saturday, backing up their tag as promotion favourites.
ZERO OF THE WEEK
Harry Kewell (Crawley manager) – It must be tedious being a Crawley fan. Kewell’s side have scored just 13 league goals this season — 0.72 per game. Crawley are now four points off the relegation zone.

GOAL OF THE WEEK
Olly Lee (Luton) – Any goal that is scored from inside a player’s own half is special. But this one was a delight. Lee charged down Cambridge’s Gary Deegan before connecting sweetly with the ball which flew over goalkeeper David Forde and bounced into the net.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
Keith Curle (Carlisle manager) on Clint Hill after the veteran defender scored the winner at Grimsby: ‘His determination, his strength, his ability to make the right decisions shine through.’
STAT OF THE WEEK
14 – That’s the number of games Barnet have gone under manager Rossi Eames without a win, after Port Vale continued their resurgence under Neil Aspin. The Bees are now one of the favourites to be relegated.
