Leeds three-year-old girl recites Taekwondo creed

This is the adorable moment a toddler passionately recites the Taekwondo Creed as she gets ready for a class with her teacher – who is almost three times her size.

Sophie, three, is a member of Leeds Taekwondo – and when she practices the Korean martial art – she isn’t messing around.

Standing to attention she cries: ‘I will develop myself in a positive manner.

‘I will develop self discipline in order to help bring out the best in myself and others. 

‘I will use common sense and never be abusive or offensive.’

Dressed in a white gi with a white belt, she adds passionately: ‘We are dedicated, we are motivated, we are on a quest to be the best.’

The routine ends with them both punching forward and falling to their knees with a ‘Hiyah!’ before the instructor congratulates Sophie on her dedicated performance.

The footage was taken in 2015 but has recently resurfaced online and has been viewed over 12million times worldwide.
