Leeds TV presenter becomes star during England’s World Cup friendly

England signed off their World Cup warm-up preparations in fine style — but TV directors seemed unable to keep cameras off a beautiful woman in the crowd who appeared less than enamoured with the game.

Coverage of England’s routine World Cup warm-up victory over Costa Rica was peppered with cutaway shots of a blonde spectator looking bored behind the dugout.

But rather than commenting on England manager Gareth Southgate’s tactical changes – or Marcus Rashford’s wonder goal – fans on Twitter were more interested in the attractive woman sat behind the bench.

Many took to social media in a bid to establish her identity, with one user declaring she was ‘the best part of watching the game so far’.

But MailOnline can reveal the woman getting all the attention is none other than Emma Louise Jones, a radio presenter for Staffordshire and Cheshire station Signal1.

And she tweeted: ‘Contrary to popular belief, this is not my ‘bored’ face, it’s my ‘concentration’ face. I loved every moment hosting the game.’
