Lego Masters FIRST LOOK: New trailer hints exciting ‘new challenge’ as 2022 contestants are revealed

Lego Masters has been a surprise hit for Channel Nine over the past few years.
And on Sunday, the network released a new trailer for season four of the popular competition.
The promo begins with host Hamish Blake walking through the jungle and searching for a Lego built trophy.

‘Legend says, a secret treasure was stolen. Lost for centuries. An immortal who holds it will be given power behind your imagination,’ the voiceover says.
‘A new adventure is coming, Australia’s greatest Lego builders will do whatever it takes to get their hands on the most prized trophy of them all.’
The voiceover continues: ‘This year, Australia’s most loved competition is going to spectacular, breathtaking new heights.’

Last year, the Lego Masters premiere was the top entertainment program of the night.
The reality series pulled in 838,000 metro viewers and even beat Ten’s MasterChef premiere, which had just 670,000 viewers.
Despite the wins, Lego Masters’ ratings is down from its previous season, which regularly reached more than a million metro viewers per episode last year.

Season one of the show also managed to draw in an audience of 1.372million back in 2019.
Channel Nine previously gave fans a glimpse inside the show’s Brick Pit.
It contains 3million LEGO pieces and almost every piece is arranged by colour.
There are 60 different shades to choose from, and it took a team of 122 people and 1,098 hours to organise the room.
