Tiffany Haddish’s shocking allegation that an actress bit Beyoncé’s face at an exclusive pary has led to a number of screen stars stepping forward to issue denials.
And Lena Dunham also appears keen to remove herself from the list of suspects, as the former Girls star took to Twitter on Tuesday night to declare that she wasn’t involved in the bizarre incident, alleged to have taken place in December.
Hours after being named the favourite of bookies Paddy Power to have been behind the alleged bite, the 31-year-old informed her 5.7million followers on the micro-blogging site: ‘As the patron saint of “She would do that…” I didn’t.’
And that’s the tooth! Lena Dunham, left, as denied claims that she is the mystery actress who bit Beyoncé, right, during an exclusive party in Los Angeles in December
Lena topped the bookies’ list at 2/1 as the one most likely to have sunken her teeth into 36-year-old Beyoncé’s face, while Sanaa Lathan – who also denied that she was responsible – closely followed with odds of 7/2.
Girls Trip breakout star Tiffany has allegedly told friends that Sanaa is indeed the mystery biter, multiple sources told TMZ on Tuesday morning.
Tiffany, 38, revealed that the incident happened after Jay Z’s Los Angeles performance in December, only for Twitter users to frantically seek out the culprit after the remarks were published in the April edition of GQ magazine.

Sources told TMZ that ‘it was not an aggressive bite … it was playful and noninvasive, but still caught Beyonce off guard.’
Fans reportedly found the guest list from the event and concluded that it could have been The Best Man actress Sanaa, 46, commenting with bumblebee emojis on her social media accounts.
Sanna broke her silence on Monday night, tweeting: ‘Y’all are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyoncé and if I did it would’ve been a love bite.’
The declaration of love for Beyonce only prompted still-suspicious fans to respond with a string of hilarious memes, including OJ Simpson GIFs from those who took note of Sanaa’s ‘if I did it’ line.

Beyoncé’s notoriously dedicated fans – dubbed the Beyhive – were quick to place blame, prompting Love & Basketball actress Sanaa and model Sara Foster, ex step-sister of Bella and Gigi Hadid, to deny rumours that they are the culprits.
On Tuesday, Tiffany took to Instagram to defend herself for revealing the alleged incident in the first place, writing: ‘Y’all forgot I am in the hive too and just know this I will always speak my truth. That’s not going to stop.
‘The Queen [BEE EMOJI] kept me from doing something half of you Bees would have done no matter what,’ wrote the comedienne in her post.
‘To me she is a Shero and a Great person I have learned so much from her in just a short amount of time. So no matter what she has a Unicorn [UNICORN EMOJI] that has her back,’ she added.
What’s the word? Tiffany has reportedly told close pals that Sanaa Lathan, right, is in fact the infamous Beyoncé-biter, according to TMZ
It wasn’t me! Sanna addressed rumors on Monday night, tweeting: ‘Y’all are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyoncé and if I did it would’ve been a love bite’
Model and former 90210 actress Sara Foster also denied she played any part in the incident, writing on Instagram: ‘Flattering that anyone thinks I could get this close to Beyoncé,’ alongside a screen shot of an email she had received from a journalist.
While the Los Angeles native deliberately didn’t name the woman who bit Beyoncé, the Bey Hive immediately began debating her identity.
Chrissy Teigen was one of the first, tweeting: ‘I cannot leave this planet without knowing who bit Beyoncé in the face.’
She then followed this up with: ‘I can only think of one person who would do this. but I cannot say. but she….is the worst.’

Denial: ‘Flattering that anyone thinks I could get this close to Beyoncé,’ Sara stated, alongside a screen shot of an email she had received from a journalist
However after finding out who the actress with vampire-like tendencies actually was, Chrissy expressed her shock.
‘My initial guess was wrong. The real person? I *never* would have guessed. I’VE SAID TOO MUCH.’
But while Chrissy wasn’t able to name the alleged biter, Twitter wasn’t so reticent, with fans all jumping to name actresses they thought could be to blame.
Tiffany explained: ‘There was this actress there that’s just, like, doing the mostest. She bit Beyoncé in the face. So Beyoncé stormed away, went up to Jay-Z, and was like, “Jay! Come here! This b****…” and snatched him.
Who bit Beyoncé’s face? Online frenzy followed Tiffany Haddish’s shock revelation… as Chrissy Teigen tweeted, ‘You’d NEVER guess who it is!’
‘They went to the back of the room. I was like, “What just happened?” And Beyoncé’s friend walked up and was like, “Can you believe this b**** just bit Beyonce?”‘
Tiffany went on to reveal that the mystery actress then crossed her path – telling her to stop dancing.

Tiffany subsequently approached Beyoncé, who she had met for the first time that evening. The irrepressible 38-year-old said she told her: ‘I’m going to beat somebody a** at your party. I just want to let you know that.’
Beyoncé allegedly told her not to, and said of the actress: ‘That b**** is on drugs. She not even drunk. The b**** is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.’
The interview updates Tiffany’s previous description of meeting the superstar, in which she went into less detail.
In it, Tiffany said she had witnessed the singer act possessively when the unidentified actress placed her hand on Jay Z’s chest.
In response on DJ Khaled’s recent song Top Off, Beyoncé called out Tiffany, saying her name and rapping: ‘If they’re tryna party with the queen, they gon’ have to sign a non-disclosure.’
But the Girls Trip star doesn’t seem to be too worried that she has burned the friendship bridge with her idol.
‘Everything she said rang so real to me,’ she said in a tweet after the song was released. ‘Just know I will sign an NDA any day for Beyoncé. But also know this I will fight for Beyoncé. I love that woman she is a gift from God.’
