Lenny Hochstein and Katharina Mazepa call off engagement after a year

Lenny Hochstein and Katharina Mazepa have ended their engagement after one year.

The 58-year-old plastic surgeon confirmed the parting, which came a year after his proposal, to Page Six on Wednesday.

‘We recently ended our engagement,’ Hochstein told the outlet of his relationship with the 29-year-old model.

Hochstein added, ‘I have decided to move forward with my life,’ adding that he wishes ‘nothing but the best’ for Mazepa, a native of Austria, and that he has ‘nothing but love and admiration for Katharina and her family.’

Hochstein – who has two kids with ex-wife, Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein, 42 – said that he’s ‘proud of [Mazepa’s] growth as a woman.’

The former couple was pictured in Miami at an Art Basel bash last December 

Hochstein added that he ‘will be forever grateful for the time’ that he and Mazepa ‘spent together.’

An Instagram page for the podcast Cocktails & Gossip under the handle @bravoandcocktails_ featured a clip of Mazepa in a romantic embrace with a man, which she first posted in a video on her Instagram Stories, Page Six reported.

The first image showed Mazepa and the man romantically embracing on a boat, which she captioned, ‘You jump I jump … they say all we need in life might just be a little… push.’

According to Page Six, Mazepa ‘quickly deleted the footage’ and posted another frame to her Stories with the same person, who she tagged into the image as @tomgasp83, with the name Tom Gasp.

She captioned the image (which was still on her Stories Wednesday afternoon): ’10 years of friendship with this superhuman … grateful beyond words for you!’

Mazepa in the image had her arms around Gasp while gazing at him, tagging the image from the French hotel The Maybourne Riviera.

Lenny Hochstein initially proposed to Mazepa during a trip to Ibiza, Spain in July of 2023, which came prior to the finalization of his divorce with Lisa Hochstein.

Mazepa at the time took to her Instagram, captioning the image, ‘On top of an ancient pirate cave, overlooking the sunset over breathtaking Es Vedrá, he asked to steal me away forever.’

Lisa Hochstein was publicly critical of the relationship at the time, as she posted to social media, ‘Congrats to my current husband and his mistress on their engagement.’

The oceanfront proposal came more than a year after Lenny – who has been nicknamed the ‘Boob God’ for his plastic surgery skills – filed to divorce Lisa Hochstein after a dozen years of marriage, in May of 2022.

The split has been an especially messy one, with allegations of infidelity made against Lenny, who has been involved in extended litigation surrounding the split on a number of fronts.  

Lisa Hochstein – who is mother to son Logan, nine, and daughter Elle, four, with Lenny – has since moved on in a romance with businessman Jody Glidden, as they have been dating for two years.
