Lewis Capaldi hilariously gives Roman Kemp a massage backstage at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball

Lewis Capaldi and Roman Kemp enjoyed some backstage shenanigans at Capital’s star-studded Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard at The O2 on Saturday.

In a hilarious segment, singer Lewis, 26, gave host Roman, 29, a massage as he took some time out ahead of hitting the stage at the festive event.

The Someone You Loved singer joked as he got to work massaging Roman: ‘Christmas has come early for me!’

Roman first introduced the segment, telling fans: ‘I’m currently face down, on a massage table backstage… getting rubbed down by not my usual masseuse.’

He was then left in hysterics as Lewis showed off his sense of humour as they chatted and he even jokingly passed wind while massaging him.

‘That was me sorry, been holding that in for a while,’ Lewis quipped as Roman erupted into laughter.

Roman then asked Lewis about his singing career, asking him: ‘Do you look after your voice?’, ahead of the Grace hitmaker’s performance.

‘Nope. Before every gig, I get a massage like this,’ Lewis said.

He was then asked if he had any ‘pre-show rituals,’ before he said that he warms up with a vocal coach before hitting the stage.

Lewis also spoke about the upcoming Christmas holidays and said the best gift he has ever received was an air fryer.

The massage soon wrapped up with both stars hitting the stage to respectively present and sing.
