Lewis Hamilton crashes out of Belgian Grand Prix on first lap

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has crashed out of the Belgian Grand Prix in the first lap.

The seven-time-world champion made contact with Fernando Alonso that caused the back half of his car to jump into the air before being forced off the track.

He initially carried on but was then told to stop by Mercedes staff.
