The 29-year-old Hunger Games star has spent the past three weeks in his home country, seeking comfort from the people who know him best.
The entire Hemsworth family have been rallying around Liam recently, including his older brother Chris.

A day earlier, the pair had embarked on a gruelling workout in the backyard of Chris’ Byron Bay home.
In footage of the workout shared to Instagram, Chris can be seen flexing as an unknown male says: ‘These units getting around!’

Last month, Liam had been in Melbourne filming a commercial at a shopping centre, and was spotted on set without his wedding ring.
Around this time, he also paid a visit to nearby Phillip Island, where he and his two older brothers were raised for part of their childhoods.
Liam and Miley announced their split on Saturday, after less than seven months of marriage.
