Liam Hemsworth announced his separation from Miley Cyrus in August, after just eight months of marriage.
And the 29-year-old has been enjoying some rest and relaxation with his brother Chris Hemsworth in Malibu, with the pair surfing together this week.
The actor appears to have worked up an appetite, stopping into a Whole Foods in Malibu to stock up on groceries during a Friday evening grocery run.

He was alone on the trip, and appeared lost in thought as he waited at the checkout to pay for his goods.
The Australian star was dressed casually in a black, long-sleeved shirt, which clung to his muscular physique.
He added a pair of chic khaki slacks to the ensemble, which matched his similar coloured cap.

Wearing a beard, the star took away a number of paper bags filled up with groceries from the trendy health food outlet.
It comes after Elsa Pataky, who is married to Liam’s other brother, Chris, addressed his split from Miley for the first time at a press conference in Madrid this week.
‘My brother-in-law, well… after a relationship that you’ve dedicated ten years to, he’s a little bit down, but he’s coping well, he’s a strong boy and he deserves the best,’ she said, according to Hola! magazine.

‘I think he deserves much better,’ added the 43-year-old model.
Speaking about Liam’s relationship with her husband, she continued: ‘You always find support in your family, and he’s joined at the hip with [Chris], who has been there to give all the strength he needed.’
It was a surprising move from Elsa, who had been close friends with Miley during the pop star’s decade-long relationship with Liam.
The pair even got matching tattoos as a tribute to their friendship three years ago.
