Liam Payne was seen for the first time on Sunday night since he was ‘rushed to hospital with severe kidney pain’ earlier this month.

The former One Direction star, 30, looked to have recovered from his is nasty health scare as he stepped out with girlfriend Kate Cassidy in Paris.

It comes after he was hospitalised on a trip to Lake Como in Italy with Kate, after he was forced to cancel his South American tour due to the infection.

While stepping out for the Frame dinner during Paris Fashion Week Kate put on a busty display in a plunging black feather dress and long boots.

Beside her Liam looked a little downcast and dressed casually in a patterned red jacket and jeans.

It comes after on Monday Kate was spotted on a shopping spree on her own in London where she was asked about Liam’s health. 

Updating fans on the singer’s health, she said: ‘He’s feeling a lot better. He’s in good hands. He’s out of the hospital.’

It came after Liam’s distraught mother fought back tears as she revealed how the superstar’s family were all ‘worried sick’ over her son’s emergency dash to hospital.

Speaking from her three-storey, £360,000 detached home near Wolverhampton, Karen Payne, said: ‘We are all worried sick about it but we just have to get on. It’s horrible – him being all the way over there.

‘He’s in Milan and it sounds like he’ll be there for a week. I feel helpless’ 

The 62-year-old added: ‘All we can really do is sit it out here and hope for the best. There is nothing we can do. We feel helpless.

‘It’s such a horrible situation and we just hope he’s in the best place possible.’

The singer was rushed to hospital during a romantic holiday in Lake Como, Italy with his girlfriend after suffering with agonising kidney pain.

He announced last month that he was cancelling a tour in South America due to a ‘serious kidney infection’ which previously left him in hospital.

Insiders report that the star was celebrating his one-year ­anniversary with Kate when he fell ill at their holiday property and was rushed to hospital in an ambulance.

A source said: ‘Liam is in a bad way but he’s in the best place he can be and finally doctors will be able to get to the bottom of what is going on.

‘Naturally he is gutted that his and Kate’s trip to Lake Como has been ruined but at least she was there to help him when he fell ill.

‘Doctors have warned him not to expect to be signed off to go home for at least another six days.

‘They want to do every test possible to understand the issue fully but they now suspect that there has been an underlying issue for a while that has been getting worse.’
