Emergency! Liberty Poole has revealed that she called 111 for help after she discovered a maggot in her food delivery

Addressing her fans, she explained: ‘So I’m a bit traumatised from last night.

‘So imagine, I ordered a takeaway, and there was a maggot in the takeaway, and I don’t think I’m going to get a delivery again. Honestly, it was disgusting.’

She continued: ‘I ended up calling 111 because I happened to be in the bath, and I thought that I might die from bacterial poisoning.

‘So that might have been a bit dramatic, but at least it was 111, not 999, imagine. So always call 111, not 999, if you think there might be a problem.’

‘And that’s what I did, I called them up saying there was a maggot in my food. Do I throw up, or do I get bacterial poisoning?’

Liberty explained 111 told her there was nothing to be worried about and she would be okay.

She joked: ‘So tonight, I’m going to live life to the full because I haven’t died from bacterial poisoning.’

She added a gruesome picture of the maggot for her followers to see, writing: ‘Guys this was it I felt sick.’

It comes after Liberty became the fourth celebrity to be sent home from Dancing On Ice 2022 after taking a nasty tumble during her evening’s routine.

The Love Island star and her professional partner Joe faced off against Kye and and Tippy in Sunday’s skate off, however three out of the show’s four judges voted to send the latter through to week six.

However viewers were left unhappy that Liberty had been sent home over Bez – who performed a shaky routine and earned a score of just 19.5 – with one writing on social media: ‘Absolutely ridiculous that Liberty left tonight. It’s a popularity contest not based on skating.’

After learning her fate, Liberty gushed to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: ‘Even though we had that fall tonight, I’ve enjoyed every second and I want to thank everyone behind the scenes and my mum for being in the audience every week. She is my rock.’
