And Lily Allen appeared in high spirits as she attended the star-studded 2018 Hyundai Mercury Music Prize at London’s Eventim Apollo on Thursday evening.

The singer, 33, oozed sophistication as she slipped into an elaborate semi-sheer dress, embellished with quirky feathers details throughout.

The Mercury Prize honours innovation in music, celebrating the best 12 albums that showcase ‘artistic achievement across a range of contemporary music genres’ and aims to ‘provide a snapshot of the year in music’, created as an alternative to the BRIT Awards.

Alternative rock band Wolf Alice were announced as the 2018 winners for their chart-topping album Visions of a Life.

Lily, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Nadine Shah, Jorja Smith and Arctic Monkeys were among the nominees for this year’s awards. Previous Mercury Prize winners include Sampha, Skepta, Benjamin Clementine, Young Fathers and James Blake.

Lily’s outing comes after she revealed details of her mile-high sex romp with former Oasis frontman Liam, 45, in an excerpt from her tell-all autobiography My Thoughts Exactly on Sunday.

And the singer had another confession to make in her book, as she revealed that she kissed No Reservations actress Zoe, 29, while on tour with her in 2014, when she was still married to Sam Cooper.

Detailing the experience in her book, the 33-year-old explained: ‘For my New York shows, Zoe Kravitz and her band Lolawolf supported me, so I got to know Zoe a bit. We became friends.

It was during this tour that Lily admitted to sleeping with female prostitutes following the breakdown of her marriage to Cooper.

‘When we landed in Tokyo, Liam said, in his distinctive nasal twang, ‘What you doing now? Why don’t you come back to our hotel’… I was like, ‘Yeah, OK’.’

However, Liam was married to All Saints singer Nicole Appleton at the time and he begged Lily, who admitted she had ‘grown up an Oasis fan’, never to reveal their fling.

She added: ‘It wasn’t until the next day when he said something like, ‘No one can hear about this because of Nic,’ then I clocked he was married. I knew Noel was married and I knew Liam had been married to Patsy Kensit. That was partly why I fancied him.

Despite hoping the secret romp would never see the light of day, Nicole discovered the truth six months later and Liam asked Lily to lie to his wife.

The Fear songstress explained the hitmaker ‘sounded awful, like he’d been up all night’ when he said he needed her to tell Nicole their night of passion was ‘b*****ks’.

However, Lily fired back at the Beady Eye rocker and blasted him for his actions, insisting that he was only trying to save face ‘and not disrupt what really matters: The people we love and rely on.’
