Arnott’s Shapes have announced they are bringing out a new flavour – and it is sending fans into a meltdown. 

Vegemite and Cheese Shapes will become a reality this summer as the company announces they are branching out their savoury cracker range.

The snacks with a distinct Australian taste are even shaped like the country itself.

Featured in the ad are famous Aussies including actor Shane Jacobson, former Olympians Cathy Freeman and Giaan Rooney, and former Test cricketer Glenn McGrath. 

The celebs and sports figures are all filmed munching on the snack. 

The ad proclaimed the snack is the newest ‘Aussie legend’. 

The crackers themselves are made to resemble the shape of Australia.

Others were more skeptical about the Vegemite flavouring. 

‘I’ve always joked about how Australia likes putting Vegemite onto everything, but I never thought they would actually make Vegemite flavoured Shapes…’ wrote one person. 

Another person questioned: ‘Has anything with Vegemite added to it worked? Chips Chocolate? Vegemite cheese singles ? I do love Vegemite, not sure if the Shapes will take off.’
