Lindsay Lohan’s BRUTAL reaction to being replaced on The Masked Singer Australia

Lindsay Lohan’s BRUTAL reaction to being replaced on The Masked Singer – as new panelist Urzila Carlson reveals why she is a better fit

Lindsay Lohan appears to have severed ties with her former panellists on The Masked Singer, after being replaced by comedian Urzila Carlson for season two.

The American actress, 34, was forced to pull out of filming last month due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, with Urzila taking her place on the guessing panel.

Last week, fans noticed that Lindsay had seemingly unfollowed her co-stars from the first season on Instagram.

She is no longer following Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, Dannii Minogue or Dave Hughes. Interestingly, all three are still following Lindsay.

The Freak Friday star’s brutal reaction to being dropped from the Australian franchise suggests that she may never return.

It comes after Jackie told Who magazine last Thursday that Lindsay was ‘so upset’ over being unable to return to Australia to film the second season.

‘We’ve stayed in touch after she was on the panel last year. She’s so upset that she couldn’t make it back to Australia, but it just wasn’t possible,’ Jackie said.

‘I know she’ll try and watch it from her home. I loved what she brought to the show last year.’

Last week, New Zealand comedian Urzila explained why she was a better fit for The Masked Singer than the Mean Girls actress.

‘A lot of people said the same – Lindsay didn’t know any of the people,’ she told The Sydney Morning Herald.

‘At least I’ve worked with a lot of people in the industry and I’ve been coming [to Australia] with my show for 11 years, doing everything from Fringes to comedy festivals. I’m sure I’ll have more of a clue here,’ she added.

The Masked Singer continues Monday at 7:30pm on Channel 10
