Lindsey Vonn moves on with Spanish actor Diego Osorio after ending engagement with P.K. Subban

Olympic ski champ Lindsey Vonn appears to have a new man in her life, five months after it all went downhill with ex-fiancé P.K. Subban.

The 36-year-old former alpine ski racer was spotted with Spanish actor and spirits company founder Diego Osorio, putting on a public display of affection in New York on Wednesday, according to PageSix.

The pair were seen arm-in-arm together as they strolled around the city, appearing to suggest that Vonn has found a new romantic partner in her life.

Meanwhile, PEOPLE confirmed after the sighting that the pair, who met through mutual friends, are officially dating.

‘It’s new and they’re enjoying getting to know each other,’ a source told the publication.

Her new man is chief creative officer of Lobos 1707, a premium tequila line that he co-founded with sports star with Lebron James.

Osorio has also dabbled in acting, mainly in short films.

Vonn – who is also known to show off her sculpted physique on Instagram – called it quits with Canadian hockey star Subban, 31, in December last year, after three years together.

She announced the split on her Instagram at the time saying, ‘Over the past 3 years PK and I have had some incredible times together. He is a kind, good man, and someone I respect a great deal.’

‘However, after much consideration we have decided to forward separately. We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time.’

Meanwhile New Jersey Devils defenseman Subban also kept things positive, writing in his own statement: ‘Lindsey is one of the most kind and caring people I know. I will always treasure our time as a couple together and the many laughs we shared.’

The pair got engaged in August 2019 having started dating in 2018.

But Vonn later raised eyebrows in her relationship to Subban, after they got engaged a second time with Vonn going against tradition and proposing to him, popping the question as a surprise over Christmas.

‘We talk about equality but actions speak louder than words. Men should get engagement rings too and this is what PK deserves. Can’t wait to marry you babe,’ she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Earlier this month, the former couple successfully unloaded the home they bought together in Beverly Hills, CA, for $6.9 million, after placing it on the market in February for $7 million.

They had purchased the property last year, for $6.75 million.

After unloading the half-acre property, it would seem that Vonn is considering relocating as far as the East Coast.

On her Instagram Stories this month, she included a photo of what looked to be New York City, along with the caption ‘Options…’

On the bottom of the image, she tagged NYC-based real estate broker Charles Utti.

In 2019 Vonn retired from professional skiing after an impressive career that included a record number of World Cup wins, and became the first American woman to win the gold medal in downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
