Lindsie Chrisley visits lawyer’s office after accusing dad Todd and brother Chase of sex tape threat

She’s accused her estranged father Todd Chrisley and half-brother Chase of trying to blackmail her over a sex tape.

And on Monday, Lindsie Chrisley looked calm and collected as she headed to an attorney’s office in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lindsie, 29, has claimed that Todd, 50, the star of USA Network reality show Chrisley Knows Best, threatened her in an effort to help cover up his alleged tax evasion.

Todd and wife Julie, 46, appeared in federal court in Atlanta last Wednesday charged with 12 counts of bank fraud and federal tax evasion. They pleaded not guilty.

Lindsie, who has a 10-year-old son Jackson with husband Will Campbell, looked casually stylish as she headed to her legal appointment Monday.

The blonde, whose mother is Todd’s first wife Teresa, paired a colorful striped sweater with blue jeans.

She stepped out in tan high heels and carried a large fast food restaurant beverage with straw.

Last Thursday, Lindsie told DailyMail.com that her father was ‘repugnant’ for threatening to leak a sex tape which reportedly involves Bachelor contestant Robby Hayes.

She claimed Todd and her half-brother Chase made the threat to make her ‘lie about an incident’ to federal investigators.

Lindsie left the family’s reality show in 2017 after five seasons after a falling out with her famous dad.

She had married her husband Will in 2012 but by 2016 the couple were separated. They have, however, reconciled.

Lindsie went to police on July 16, a month before her father and stepmother were arrested, to make a complaint about the actions of Todd and Chase.

Her lawyer Musa Ghanayem told DailyMail.com: ‘Lindsie has made a complaint of their acts to law enforcement, and she will provide them whatever they need in the course of their investigation into her family’s actions. Lindsie prays for a just outcome so that she can go forward with her life safe from those who are looking to do her harm.’

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Todd described his daughter’s accusations as ‘heartbreaking and shameful’.

He told the outlet: ‘We have tried to keep Lindsie’s extramarital relationships with Robby Hayes and Josh Murray private for her sake since August of 2016.’

‘Sadly, for reasons we can only guess at, she ran to the sheriff’s office to accuse her brother of buying a sex tape of her and Robby, which was a complete lie, and now she’s telling more lies about me,’ he said. ‘Although our hearts are broken, Lindsie is our daughter and we will always love her.’

Ghanayem, speaking on Lindsie’s behalf, has denied reports that she was the source of the information that led to Todd and Julie’s arrests.

‘Lindsie has been a constant target of lies, harassment and threats from her family and as a result, has been distancing herself from the Chrisley family since 2017,’ the lawyer said.

‘Lindsie is currently processing the events that have unfolded. We will continue to cooperate with law enforcement and pray for a just resolution. We will have more to say when the opportunity presents itself.’

Todd and Julie could be sentenced to up to 30 years in federal prison if convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion.

They are currently free on $100,000 unsecured bond and were ordered by the judge to surrender their passports. The couple are not allowed to travel outside of parts of Georgia and Tennessee without letting their probation officers know where they will be. Their lawyers had asked for travel permission so they can continue filming Chrisley Knows Best.

Their Roswell, Georgia-based accountant Peter Tarantino, 56, is accused with them of conspiracy to defraud the United States and two counts of aiding the filing of a false tax return.
