Lip readers have revealed what was discussed during the private meeting between North Korea’s Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in last week.
Moon and Kim had a historic summit at the Peace House, on the border of the two Koreas, where they signed an agreement for cooperation and denuclearization to the end the decades-long Korean War.
The two leaders took a walk during the meeting where they appeared to be in deep conversation.
Now several professional lip readers have analysed video footage of their discussion, revealing that the Korean leaders focused on nuclear weapons, their interaction with the US and Donald Trump.

‘It was difficult to understand the whole conversation, but fragmentary keywords like ‘nuclear weapons facility,’ ‘Trump,’ ‘United States’ and ‘United Nations’ emerged,’ a presenter on the Japanese NTV show ‘Sukkiri’ reported, according to the Washington Post.
While Kim and Moon walked a fair distance from reporters and news cameras, speech experts say they saw Moon say the words ‘nuclear facilities’ and ‘Trump,’ while Kim spoke about ‘the United States’ and ‘the United Nations.’

It was not all business during the meeting, according to South Korea’s Channel A, and the leaders touched upon their own married lives. ‘Father looked at me and told me to marry that woman, so I trusted him,’ Kim told Moon, about his wife, singer Ri Sol Ju (pictured meeting Kim Jung-sook (L), wife of South Korea’s President Moon)
Moon also urged Kim: ‘Let’s not keep our relations cut off, let’s talk more and move in a positive direction.’
Kim also mentioned his approaching meeting with Trump.
‘The North Korea-US summit must yield positive results and I want to take things step by step to eliminate any problems,’ he said.
Kim appeared to asking Moon what he thought Trump wanted out of the meeting.
They also talked about America’s distrust of North Korea’s pledge to scrap its nuclear weapons program.
