And The Project host has posted a backhanded tribute to her former co-host Karl Stefanovic after he was booted for the Today show, on Wednesday.
In the caption she wrote, ‘Wishing @karlstefanovic_ all the best.’

Lisa and Karl hosted the breakfast show together from 2007 until she quit in 2017 following a pay dispute.
Followers of the veteran journalist praised their unique tandem during their tenure on the show, including one who commented on the photo, ‘Such a good team!!! Show has never been the same!!’

Also commenting on the post Christian Wilkins, the son of Today show entertainment editor Richard Wilkins, who reflected on a happier time during the height of the show when broadcast from the US.
