Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Polish midfielder Kacper Kozlowski.
The 17-year-old, who plays for Pogon Szczecin in his homeland, has been likened to Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne.
As reported by The Mirror, Jurgen Klopp’s side are eager to secure a deal for the prospect but face competition from AC Milan, RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg.
Liverpool are interested in signing young midfielder Kacper Kozlowski from Pogon Szczecin
Pogon Szczecin don’t want to sell Kozlowski in January, meaning he is likely to depart next summer.
The attacking midfielder has been capped by Poland on five occasions at senior level and featured against Spain and Sweden at Euro 2020.
When he played against Spain in June, he became the youngest player to feature at a European Championship aged 17 years and 246 days.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are set to face competition for Kozlowski from AC Milan and RB Leipzig
He broke the record set by England’s Jude Bellingham earlier in the tournament.
Kozlowski was previously at Baltyk Koszalin before joining Pogon Szczecin’s youth setup in 2016.
He has proceeded to make 35 senior appearances for the club and was named as the Polish league’s young player of the month in December 2020.
Kozlowski’s contract at Pogon Szczecin runs until the summer of 2023.
