A man who died of gunshot wounds at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney was the victim of a targeted attack, police say.
The Mt Druitt man arrived at the hospital at 12.53am on Saturday suffering from two gunshot wounds.
Medical staff resuscitated the 32-year-old before performing emergency surgery. He died from his injuries a short time later.
Liverpool City Police superintendent Adam Whyte said the man appeared to be the victim of a targeted attack.

‘Another male dropped him at hospital. That’s an avenue we’re pursuing.’
Supt Whyte declined to say more about the man who drove to the hospital.
‘We are investigating with State Crime Command and inquiries into locations associated with the blue vehicle in our custody,’ he said.
