Lizzo is currently in the middle of her ongoing The Special Tour, which kicked off this past September.

The singer’s run of shows was intended to support her most recently-released album, Special.

The record, which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, debuted in July of last year and received generally positive reviews from critics.

The performer went on to begin her tour with a sold-out performance at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida.

Lizzo has been supported by acts such as Latto, Saucy Santana and Bree Runway during her tour, which saw her complete several European dates in February and March.

The hitmaker also received much attention after she brought out several drag queens on stage during her April show in Knoxville, Tennessee, in protest of the state’s policies regarding public drag performances.

The singer’s tour has not been without difficulties, however, as she previously canceled her scheduled stop in Montreal after suffering flu-like symptoms.

Lizzo was subsequently forced to to cancel her planned show in Hartford, Connecticut, and she went on to release a video to let her fans know that she had come down with strep throat.

Both shows have since been rescheduled to take place on June 11 and 13, respectively.

The hitmaker’s tour is currently set to concluded with a performance at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan on July 30.
