A four-year-old girl has tested positive to Covid-19 in Queensland.

The girl is a close contact of the infected truck driver, 46, from Logan, in Brisbane’s south, who triggered an outbreak alert earlier this week in the Sunshine State.

The child returned a positive result for the virus on Friday afternoon.

She also attends The Boulevard Early Learning Centre at Mt Warren Park, with children, staff as well as visitors urged to get tested immediately.

The truck driver is believed to have been infectious in the community for at least five days.
