A young motocross rider has been killed and two others injured in a horrific car crash in Queensland.
On Wednesday night, Cohn Evans, 22, had been in the backseat of the car when it ploughed into a tree at New Beith in Logan, south of Brisbane.
Police say the three men travelled along Dungaree Drive towards Pub Lane at about 6.30 pm when the driver lost control and came off the road.
The driver, a 23-year-old man from Greenbank, and the passenger in the front seat, a 21-year-old man from Springfield Lakes, both sustained minor injuries, while Mr Evans was tragically killed.
Mr Evans was a talented motocross rider who has been remembered by his loved ones as the ‘life of the party’ and having a ‘beautiful heart’.
Heartbroken friend Renee Speare said Mr Evans had been her rock and had always known how to put a smile on her face.

‘It was only the night before the accident you were having a rough week and I held you while you were crying on my shoulder,’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘If I knew that was the last time I’d see you I would have never let go.
‘You forever had my back, if someone said one bad word about me you were there standing up for me, you told me if something ever happened you’ll make sure the boys will look after me.
‘It breaks my heart to know that won’t be happening anymore, you were honestly such a blessing in my life Cohn and I’m so glad I got to spend your last weekend here with you.
‘I know you’ll be looking down on me and I’ll continue to make you proud and run an absolute muck for you cause all you ever wanted was for me to be happy.’
