As Australia’s biggest stars take their fashion statements to the red carpet at the annual TV Week Logie Awards, many pulled out all the stops to ensure their looks were nothing short of glamorous.

But sadly for some celebrities, they didn’t win the best-dressed awards – as they made their way to The Star on the Gold Coast on Sunday afternoon.

And the television’s night of nights saw plenty of A-listers, media personalities, models and influencers miss the fashion mark with their chosen ensembles.

From awkward thigh high splits and frumpy dresses to bizarre ’80s-inspired gowns, FEMAIL looks at the most daring, bizarre and notable sartorial disasters after some stole the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

After landing on the worst-dressed list last year for her questionable outfit, Channel Nine journalist Leila McKinnon has once again failed to hit the fashion mark with her unusual choice of oversized tulle sleeves.

The TV reporter nearly suffered a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet in the bright red frock by Constantina and Louise, which features a plunging neckline and a daring thigh high split.

Also missing the mark was the Today show’s host Deborah Knight who made a dramatic entrance in a metallic purple floor-length frock with oversized sleeves.

Channel Nine star Erin Molan seemed to miss the fashion mark this year as well – as she stepped out in an ill-fitted yellow netted dress which exposed her nude corset underwear.

Following behind her footsteps was her Neighbours co-star Olivia Junkeer, who donned an unflattering one shoulder floor-length dress, featuring bizarre patterns that failed to compliment her look.

While she looked stunning in the hot pink fitted dress, actress April Rose Pengilly’s outfit was let down by the giant bow at the back and the dramatic train that trailed behind her.
